DESCRIPTION:The Garnish | Intro to CSS\n\nJoin us for our monthly coding series\, Coding & Cocktails. Women are invited to attend sessions to get an introduction to website building in a fun\, laid-back atmosphere.\n\nOnce we build out the structure of our website we want to make it look visually appealing. CSS helps us put the "pretty" in our web pages -- the same way a mint leaf or paper umbrella spruces up our favorite drinks. Join us to learn about different selector types\, how to apply styles to your page and why all of this matters! You'll also get to try styling a web page with CSS yourself (with support from our awesome mentors of course)!\n\nThere will be lots of guidance and support for those with little to no coding experience so come join the fun!\n\n\n All Coding & Cocktails events are exclusively for women. We are trans and non-binary inclusive.\n No coding experience necessary (we mean that!)\n Wifi-enabled laptop is required (don't have one? Borrow one of ours)\n Must be at least 21 to attend\n Cocktails\, non-alcoholic beverages\, and dinner served\n Please familiarize yourself with Kansas City Women in Technology's Code of Conduct. \n Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the event is required.\n Masking is strongly recommended but not required.\n\n\nDo you need financial assistance to attend?
