Coding & Cocktails: Level Up Your GitHub Profile through GitHub Actions

Join us for our monthly coding series, Coding & Cocktails. Women are invited to attend sessions to get an introduction to website building in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.

Time to re-assess your resumes and networking profiles - including GitHub. Join us for a discussion on ways to level up your GitHub profile and stand out from the crowd in the best ways.

We'll learn the basics of GitHub Actions and use it to add automated workflows to your GitHub profile, and leverage free Actions from Marketplace to make your GitHub profile more fun and creative.

There will be lots of guidance and support for those with little to no coding experience so come join the fun!

• No coding experience necessary (we mean that!)
• Wifi-enabled laptop is required (don't have one? Borrow one of ours)
• Trans and non-binary inclusive
• Must be at least 21 to attend
• Cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and dinner served
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the event is required.
• Please familiarize yourself with Kansas City Women in Technology's Code of Conduct.
