About Our Speakers:
Dan Zimmerman, Chief Product and Technology Officer @ TreviPay
Dan is responsible for strategy, innovation and engineering for the company’s software product lines. Dan has over 20 years of experience leading technology, product and software engineering teams concentrated in the card and payment processing industry. He spent time in senior roles at TSYS, Western Union and served as vice president of technology at Nordstrom Bank. Over his career, Dan has led the launch of multiple SaaS applications, led multiple successful agile transformations and won two CIO 100 awards.
Dan holds a bachelors of Computer Information Systems from Strayer University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
Dan joined TreviPay in 2015.
Valerie Kramer, EVP and Chief Digital Officer @ NBH Bank
As Chief Digital Officer, Kramer develops and executes the enterprise product management strategy working to ensure the Bank is delivering a best-in-class client experience by enabling them to bank when, how, and where they want securely and seamlessly. In her role, Kramer leads the launch of 2UniFi, a transformational platform that will provide access to a robust array of financial services, real-time information and payment tools within a secure and regulated environment to small and medium-sized businesses across the nation. To provide alignment with the client delivery strategy, Kramer also oversees the deposit Operations teams.
Kramer has held roles of increasing responsibility at the Bank within treasury management, sales, support, implementation, and payments. Before joining Bank Midwest in 2010, Kramer held various roles within regional and national banks throughout the Midwest.
Ms. Kramer earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Nebraska. Ms. Kramer is a 2021 Centurion with the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, a Kansas City Business Journal ‘Women Who Mean Business’ alum and served on the board of Community Linc, a Kansas City non-profit working to end homelessness.
Chris Borchers, Chief Technology & Product Officer @ Basys
Chris joined Team Basys in 2021, bringing with him more than two decades of IT expertise, predominantly in Application Development. He oversees the Technology, Security, Application and Product teams, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Chris earned a Kansas City CIO ORBIE Award in 2023, which is a testament to Chris’ extensive experience and leadership skills. Along with his team, Chris focuses on advancing our technological capabilities while maintaining high standards of security and functionality across our products and services.
