The CEO Retreat is the KC Tech Council's most highly-anticipated event. Invitations are highly sought after, and previous attendees are eager to return. Local leaders come together to learn from industry influencers, network with fellow CEOs and of course, retreat. This retreat is designed with Kansas City CEOs in mind. The KC Tech Council brings together high-level speakers and unique programming that attendees wouldn't experience otherwise. In addition to well-curated programming, the retreat itself is exclusive in every sense of the word. Attendees must be a CEO or highest-ranking local official. The venue is located at a beautiful ranch south of Kansas City, offering a wide range of amenities. Nature trails, fishing and shooting ranges are all at the guest's disposal.

Pam Kramer | Chief Executive Officer @ KC2026
A proven leader in sports business, Pam Kramer’s career includes 16 years at Sprint, where she played an instrumental role in developing and executing many of Sprint’s most successful and pioneering sponsorships, notably the 1994 FIFA World Cup USA, the last time the global event was held in the United States. Among her accomplishments is securing the placement of Sprint’s brand on the NFL coaches’ headsets, the first sponsorship of its kind by a consumer brand.
Following her tenure at Sprint, which culminated in leading the company’s $100-million annual advertising efforts and earning the highly esteemed Sprint Chairman’s Award, Kramer joined the Kansas City Chiefs to lead business communications and advise team leadership on communications strategy. In 2021, the Kansas City Current retained her as transitional CEO during its critical start-up phase where she helped steer the organization in its development of the Kansas City Current brand and assisted launching the team onto the national stage. Most recently, she provided strategic oversight and guidance to the Kansas City Sports Commission as Fractional Chief Operating Officer (COO) before transitioning to the KC2026 team.

Bill Briggs | Chief Technology Officer @ Deloitte US
Over the course of 26+ years with Deloitte, Bill has delivered complex transformation programs for clients in a variety of industries, including Financial Services, Healthcare, Consumer Products, Telecommunications, Energy, and the Public Sector. Bill is a strategist with deep implementation experience—helping clients anticipate the impact that new and emerging technologies may have on their business in the future, while getting there from the realities of today. In his role as CTO, Bill identifies, researches, and champions the emerging technologies affecting clients’ businesses. He also drives the incubation of new assets, solutions, and businesses across Deloitte’s industries and offerings, while shaping the strategy for Deloitte’s evolving technology-related services, talent model, and market positioning.
Bill also serves as executive sponsor of Deloitte’s CIO Program. In this role, he offers CIOs and other tech executives insights and experiences to navigate the complex and evolving challenges they face in business and technology. Previously, Bill was the founding global leader of Deloitte Digital where he was responsible for launching and growing a new global practice, redefining the vision of a digital consulting agency.
Bill earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Kids In Need Foundation - partnering with teachers and students in under-resourced schools, providing the support needed for teachers to teach and learners to learn. He also chairs the Business Advisory Council of the Starlight Theater, the largest open-air venue in the Midwest that sponsors a variety of programs to expand access and involvement in the arts.

Dr. Chris Kuehl | Managing Partner and Co-Founder @ Armada Corporate Intelligence
Dr. Chris Kuehl is a Managing Director of Armada Corporate Intelligence. He provides forecasts and strategic guidance for a wide variety of corporate clients around the world. He is the economist for several national and international organizations: Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, American Supply Association, Chemical Coaters Association International and others. He is also the economic analyst for several state accounting societies including Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Minnesota, North Dakota and Kansas. Prior to starting Armada in 1999 he was a professor of economics and finance for 15 years teaching in the US, Hungary, Russia, Estonia, Singapore and Taiwan. He holds advanced degrees in economics, Soviet studies and East Asian studies.
