LEGiT Mentor

KC Tech Council's Leadership and Empowerment for Girls in Tech (LEGiT) program returns in 2025,  providing tech awareness, career exploration, leadership opportunities and mentorship for greater Kansas City high school female-identifying students entering Junior and Senior year.

We are looking for women working in tech organizations or tech roles to mentor young women and encourage them to explore an active tech role in the future. Your commitment, ranging from two to seven hours distributed throughout June and July 2025, will significantly contribute to shaping and inspiring their journey. Please note that volunteers will not necessarily be assigned to individual mentees, but rather contribute to group mentorship.
